Phil Mickelson finally issues apology for deliberately hitting moving ball

Phil Mickelson has finally apologised — four days after he deliberately hit a moving ball at last week’s US Open to prevent it rolling off the green. He breached rule 14-5 which incurs a two-shot penalty.
